Mending 101: Sashiko Stitching for Repair & Renewal

Give your favorite garments a second life through the beautiful and practical Japanese art of Sashiko. This hands-on workshop introduces the history, purpose, and techniques behind Sashiko stitching — a traditional method used to reinforce, patch, and decorate clothing using simple running stitches arranged in geometric patterns.


No sewing experience is needed. Bring a few pieces of clothing in need of repair; all other tools and materials are provided.

Fire Cider & Elderberry Syrup

Start the year by crafting two traditional winter wellness remedies to support immunity all season long. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make traditional fire cider, as well as elderberry syrup. We’ll discuss the benefits of these remedies, as well as how to use them.


All materials are provided, and each participant will take home one quart of fire cider and one pint of elderberry syrup to support themselves and their families through the season.

Natural Dyeing with Kitchen Scraps

Discover the unexpected colors hiding in your pantry. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the basics of natural dyeing using everyday kitchen scraps such as avocado pits, onion skins, and coffee grounds. You’ll learn how to prepare fibers, why mordants matter, and how different mordants transform the final color.


All materials are provided, and each participant will leave with a naturally-dyed set of six natural-fiber cloth napkins—perfect for everyday use or as a handmade gift.

Transform simple ingredients into nourishing, plant-based body care. In this introductory herbal workshop, we’ll explore how to make infused oils, soothing salves, and hydrating creams using accessible ingredients and time-honored methods.


All materials are provided, and each participant will leave with an oil, salve, and cream, as well as the confidence to keep creating at home.

Hand-Sewing 101: Embroidered Love Letters

Sunday, February 1 | 3 - 6 PM

Learn a variety of decorative stitches as you create a one of a kind love note made from fabric scraps. Learn to use a basic pattern to cut material, quilt scraps together, and finish the piece with decorative stitching. This is a beginner friendly workshop! All materials provided, but feel free to bring fabric that has meaning to you or your loved one.

Block-Printed (Valentine’s) Tea Towels

Sunday, February 8 | 3-6 PM

Celebrate love with hand-made block-printed tea towels. Learn to design and carve your own block prints, then use them to create a set of four Valentine’s-themed tea towels.

All materials are provided. Each participant will leave with four hand-printed towels.

Book Binding 101: Fabric-Bound Journals

Sunday, February 15 | 3 - 6 PM

Create a one-of-a-kind vessel for your thoughts and sketches. In this workshop, participants learn the basics of bookbinding, as well as some simple hand-sewing.

All materials provided, and each participant will leave with a finished, hand-bound journal.

Garden Planning & Seed Sowing

Sunday, February 22 | 3 - 6 PM

Learn the basics of garden planning, as you create a visual plan for your garden, and sow some seeds. Guidance will be provided on flower, herb, dye, and vegetable gardens.

All materials provided, just bring the measurements of your garden space. Each participant will leave with a tray of sowed seeds, and an individualized garden plan.
