Learn the basics of garden planning, as you create a visual plan for your garden, and sow some seeds. Guidance will be provided on flower, herb, dye, and vegetable gardens.
All materials provided, just bring the measurements of your garden space. Each participant will leave with a tray of sowed seeds, and an individualized garden plan.

Create a one-of-a-kind vessel for your thoughts and sketches. In this workshop, participants learn the basics of bookbinding, as well as some simple hand-sewing.
All materials provided, and each participant will leave with a finished, hand-bound journal.

Celebrate love with hand-made block-printed tea towels. Learn to design and carve your own block prints, then use them to create a set of four Valentine’s-themed tea towels.

Sunday, February 1 | 3 - 6 PM
Learn a variety of decorative stitches as you create a one of a kind love note made from fabric scraps. Learn to use a basic pattern to cut material, quilt scraps together, and finish the piece with decorative stitching. This is a beginner friendly workshop! All materials provided, but feel free to bring fabric that has meaning to you or your loved one.

Join us for an evening of music, dancing, and celebration as we officially launch Moonlit Farm & Folk School. This special gathering supports our mission to cultivate nature-based learning, traditional craft, creative community, and land stewardship in North Stonington.
3 - 5 PM – Kid’s Activities & Delicious Bites & Beverages
Enjoy delicious beverages, warm up by the fire, and enter our fundraising raffle to support the launch of Moonlit Farm & Folk School.
4 PM – Family Contradance
All ages welcome! Kick off the festivities with a lively community contradance led by our guest musicians. No experience necessary!
5 PM – Banquet Dinner
A hearty, farm-style meal served at communal long tables.
5–7 PM – Live Music by Bards of Gungywamp
Bards of Gungywamp bring a rollicking mix of Celtic tunes, sea songs, bluegrass, old-time music, and punk rock. Fun, lively, and full of energy—they will undoubtably get everyone dancing! (They also happen to be Martina, Nico & Leo’s favorite band.)
After-Party Until 10 PM – Fireside Gathering
Close out the night around the bonfire with s’mores & star gazing.
All proceeds support the launch of Moonlit Farm & Folk School — including our nature education classes, traditional craft & applied arts workshops, and land stewardship efforts.
